  1. Wow, that’s a really strong anecdote. I really agree. You just need to keep writing.

    A YA writer at the Melbourne Writers Festival was saying she kept fielding questions about publishing, marketing and submissions etc. but found out most of these people hadn’t even finished the first draft of their novel.

    She advised them to focus on writing first.

  2. I understand what the writer means and sometimes I feel that I’m not qualified to give tips on writing for that very reason; although I have finished several manuscripts, none of them are published so what right do I have to say anything.
